As CEO, part of my tasks entails collaborating with our team to source global products that can be added to our unique brand. I also aim to find innovative ways to develop new products while maintaining the highest quality goods and services to our valued customers. Working as a registered nurse, during the COVID -19 global pandemic, I saw first-hand the devastation the virus caused families, patients, colleagues, and even some of my friends. What kept me protected during this time was my use of traditional treatments and herbs to boost my immune system. Our unique product line is carefully selected from the indigenous use of plants and folk medicines to help individuals who value our ancestor's knowledge and skills. My favorite products for our collection are Kola Nut and Guinea Hen Weed. These teas have been used for hundreds of years and are packed with many benefits.

I grew up in the Blue Mountains of St. Thomas, Jamaica, where it was customary to drink teas and herbs daily. My passion for teas can be traced back to my upbringing. I am excited about teas for their taste, aromas, and health benefits but mostly because it connects us to our ancestors and each other through our stories. As COO of Ancestral Teas N Tings, I have an incredible opportunity to oversee our company's operations, research teas and feature an array of teas for your individual needs. All of our teas connect us to our past, present, and future. They are full of goodness! My favorite product from our collection is Semi-Contra (Epazote). It has an unforgettable aroma and taste; it has many health benefits, and it's a great conversation starter. Anyone who has had it before will not easily forget it.

Natural remedies for healing and strengthening the Black community has always been an interest of mine. As Project Manager, my goal is to provide convenience, comfort, and value to our customers through planned events, projects, and media where customers receive quality services and herbal education. The ability to get back to the roots of life and practice natural holistic healing is a form of freedom for myself and my community. As I learn more about different herbs, teas, and spices, I get a chance to connect with my lineage. It amazes me that the teas I grew up drinking in childhood, and the ones that my mother and grandmother used in the countryside of Guyana, are the same ones I have returned to!
